Son Went To Buy a Gacho, Never Came Back
Tue, August 17, 2021
And while you're on the lookout for Tropical Storm Grace, one mother is asking to also be on the lookout for her son. 32-year-old David Castillo was last seen on Thursday night, just before curfew. He was buying a gacho at a nearby shop - but never got the chance to eat it. A phone call seemingly lured him away and he still hasn't returned home. His mother, Joan Ramsey, said that this is unusual - and what's especially strange is that he missed his son's third birthday on Sunday, which was something he had long been preparing for.

His family is desperate for his return and today, his mother made a tearful plea to the public to keep an eye out for her son.

Joan Ramsey, Mother
"Thursday night he was standing up right there, because it's a family yard and I pass to go buy things for tea and he was joking with me saying if he can barrow an egg and I say Frisco, leave me alone. I went to buy and gone back inside and they say that he went to the gacho shop to buy gacho. The lady at the shop said that he got a phone call minutes to 9 and that was the last time I ever saw Frisco. If anybody out there knows or see my little Frisco, to please try help me find my little boy. He is a joy. If he cooks 2 pounds of rice, he makes sure everybody in this yard get to eat. He looks out for everybody. We can't say everybody is perfect, but he is a loving boy."

"He was so happy. He clowns everybody out telling them that he wants to borrow their slippers and stuff. His house stays open for 3 days, his house is clean, he spread his bed and took off his tennis Infront of his bed and put on his slippers, so you know he was going to bed, because it was curfew, so he went to buy gacho at the gacho shop."

"The lady at the shop said that he got a phone call and he told the lady that he would come back right now. He never came back. The lady had it there until the morning and` I had chicken in the fridge until morning and I woke up at 4am in the morning and I sat down in the sofa and my daughter came at 5:30 in the morning and ask why I was crying. I told her it's because Frisco didn't come home. If he was going somewhere, he would say. It was his baby birthday on Sunday that he would take a bucket of ice cream and chip and dips and go visit his baby and come back. That's all. Whole of Friday everybody was trying to call his phone, but only got voicemail."

If anyone has any information about Castillo's whereabouts, they are asked to contact the police or to call 610-0347.
