Bail For Most of Bladen 11
Tue, November 23, 2021
All but two of the Bladen 11 are out on $40,000 bail tonight: those still detained are Ranchito resident Adan Perez and his employee who remain in prison due to the quote: "difficulties with their representation."

But representation wasn't an issue for Sergeant George Ferguson, Corporal Elmer Nah, Corporal Delwin Casimiro, PC Nelson Middleton, and Nah's wife Epifania Caliz, they've retained the services of Attorney Dickie Bradley, and thanks to him they got to go home today, and in Caliz's case bail was granted with nothing more than a signature.

That decision came during a closed virtual hearing in the court of Justice Antoinette Moore. But, we caught up with Bradley at his office this evening, and tonight he tells us just what transpired in the virtual hearing.

"Of the Bladen 11, is there anyone who was not granted bail?"

Dickie Bradley, Attorney
"My understanding I have my colleagues Michelle Trapp who did not get an hour of sleep last night. We were on the phone and exchanging notes all night and she was traveling, she is in Jamaica right now. Her client got bail. Ronnell Gonzalez had 2 Mennonites I think, if not 3. They were able to also successfully obtain bail. There are about 3 persons who there was some difficulty with their representation, so they will have to re-apply or get representation in their matter."

Reporter
"Who are those persons?"

Dickie Bradley, Attorney
"Those persons are a gentleman Perez, a business man from up north who has a mechanic shop and one of his employees. Those are the ones who took a beating from the police. Have you seen the pictures? I will have their attorney Rodriguez get the pictures to you. It's crazy and don't hear a word about that. That is what the media also need to focus on, that 2, if not 3 of the men who were on the highway - 2 of the men, because they are spanish and because they come from up north and they probably thought they were Mexicans, they beat those men cruelly - had to be taken to a hospital."

"A high bail was set for police officers. $40,000 each. They are all accused of a serious matter. $40,000 - a police officer would be hard press to find $40.000 and I know the family has been scrambling around trying to see how they could get a land paper from somewhere, a family member who would want to take the chance of using it and then maybe ask the court, since the paper value $100,000 - can we put 2 persons on to it."
