Just hearing the outline of the story makes your blood crawl - but the details are even more ghastly as an unspeakable terror was visited last night on a poor family living on a farm. Monica Bodden has more:..

35 year old Carmita Rivas was found dead inside her kitchen - a pot of corn was still on the stove - that she had been roasting on the fire hart …this knife covered in blood along with her scattered slippers indicates she might have tried to fight for her life… The orange circle marks the spot where her lifeless body was found face up in a pool of blood.

On this bed inside their living quarters- was where - her 10 day old baby lay helpless….her husband and 14 year old son were also killed about a mile from their home…this single slipper - belonged to 14 year old Carlos Wagner …he was shot in the leg as he ran for his life…his father's body was found lying in a heap of pumpkins….

"We got the news this morning about 5 O' clock when the policeman Eldo came to tell my father what happen."

The family lives on Codd's Farm - which is located 3 and a half miles on the Sand Pit Road in Carmelita Village. 65 year old Pantaleon Navarro - who was the farm keeper - lived there with his wife and their 8 children. It is unclear as to what happened - but from what we know - Navarro, his wife and 14 year old son were brutally shot dead yesterday evening.

"Yesterday approximately about 6:30 we got a call that they told that something bad happen at the farm but not knowing that it was death involve."

"At that time you went behind the area?"

"Yes I did and I saw the dead body of the mother. As we went back there we find the man dead on top of his squash where he had harvest pepito seed already. The man is a hard worker."

The bodies were found by 2 of the children who had just came home from school…

"From they reach from school they went there, they saw their mother lying in the kitchen, so they ran at the back to see the father. The father and the brother was dead too lying down. So she took the baby and ran to find help."

With the consent of her aunt - 9 year Magdalena Rivas recap what she saw yesterday.

"Well we saw my mother dead and I just grab the baby and come out of there and we see that my daddy (step father) wasn't there he was dead too and we then we went to the village and then we went with my father stepdaughter to the village."

"So you, the little baby and your other sister walk out?"

"Yes."

"Almost 3 miles to go get help."

"Yes."

"Who you went first for help?"

Magdalena Rivas - Daughter - 9
"First the little girl father call police."

"How did you know where your dad was? He usually work by that area?"

"Yes."

35 year old Carmita Rivas was killed inside her kitchen… her husband 65 year old Pantaleon Navarro and 14 year old son Carlos Antonio Wagner was killed a mile away on their farm.

"The mother was in her face and the 12 was in his throat; the father was in his head"

At the time of the murder - a ten day old baby was inside one of the rooms… also their 2 and 3 year old children- who both hid behind the door as they witnessed their mother being killed.

"They kill your sister, her husband and the 14 year old son, but they left the 10 days old baby."

"The 10 days baby and the other little girl and a little boy too."

"They were also there?"

Amelia Wagner - sister
"They were also there. The little girl say that she was hiding at the back of the door. The other little boy I don't know where he was, but the baby was there and two more."

"They were hiding when their sister reach there."

The question is - what could have triggered this triple homicide yesterday at the Codd's Farm?

"They say that they didn't have any problem with anybody. Nobody is molesting them over there. So we don't know."

"Because at no given time the man tell me anything about threats or anything. The man I know is a hard worker."

And what happens to these 7 young ones ? -

"They don't have anywhere to go so they will have to stay here. My mom and my father are very old too, but we are here."

Police are looking for a single suspect but they have no motive at this time…
