Now, one of the more puzzling missing cases is Anisha Young. It has now been 11 days since she has gone missing and no significant leads have materialized. Police told us more today.
ASP Alejandro Cowo, CIB - Eastern Division
"We received a lead yesterday. We were in the vicinity of the old Northern Highway by the Maskall road where we did an extensive search in the area, but it lead to nothing. Any little lead that we get, we are following it up."
Reporter:
"Is there is any report or any sign that there is hope of finding her with any life?"
ASP Alejandro Cowo:
"Well, we still have the hope that she might be alive; we are hoping for the best, but I see where as time is going, the hope is becoming little less every time."
Reporter:
"Sir is there anything at all that can lead you to say that Annie's disappearance is in relation to any crime recently committed?"
ASP Alejandro Cowo:
"No."
Reporter:
"How about the rumor that was going around which was saying that she was allegedly the female who took the firearm into the nightclub where the young man was murdered on Pier One?"
ASP Alejandro Cowo:
"Well, we have heard that rumor and we have verified with persons that were at that location, and the person that we believe took the fire arm it is not her; it is somebody else."
Young's boyfriend was released last week. The family is offering a 30 thousand dollar reward for information leading to Anisha Young's whereabouts.
