So...September 21st falls on a Saturday - which is when the official ceremonies, the uniform parade and the downtown fest will be held in Belize City. But then, it was not a public and bank holiday. That was on Monday, a public and bank holiday as a replacement for the 21st.
That has led to widespread confusion.
So, this evening Government sent out a release announcing that the 21st of September will be a public and bank holiday while Monday the 23rd also remains a holiday.
