And, according to the Director of Health Services, it may be some time, maybe never, before we revisit what we knew as normal before COVID. Here’s how he put it in today’s “Ask The Expertsâ€￾ session:

"I don't know if it's going to ever go back to being normal. If when we go back to being a normal, whatever that means, is going to be significant changes in the way our behaviour and the way we carry our day to day duties. This virus will be here forever and until we find a vaccine or the research community does that for the next 18 months, I think social distancing is an element that is now going to stay with us forever. We'll have to learn to adequately wash our hands, assume that everybody is COVID 19 positive and take the necessary precautions in that regard."
