The Attorney General also detailed the national curfew for children which was signed into law yesterday.  Under the curfew minors must be accompanied by an adult between 6:00 pm and 6:00 AM.  Peyrefitte explained

"A child cannot be in public between 6 PM and 6 AM alone have to be accompanied and it says here every parent or guardian who allows this child to go out in the public commits an offence. So if you allow your child to break the curfew, the penalty will be paid by the parents, obviously not the child. So please, monitor your children and make sure that they don't go out in the street without your presence between 6 PM and 6 AM. That is for the whole country, not just San Pedro."
