Tonight we note the passing of former Commissioner of Police, and Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Bernard Bevans, Sr.
The 80 year old Bevans died quietly at home outside Belmopan from cancer related complications.
Bevans was a career cop and in the mid 80's, he became the fourth Belizean Commissioner of Police.
