In its second term, the Briceno administration has been very slow in announcing its key appointments, but they did name one today. The PM has nominated Carolyn Trench Sandiford as President of the Senate for a second term. This nomination comes after consulting with the UDP, which - according to a release - has also expressed its support for her re-election. Consultations with the social partner senators continue.
