And later this afternoon, there was one more confusing twist. The BAA answered our most recent Freedom Of Information request saying, quote, "The BAA's board is currently seeking legal advice relating to the validity of those contracts. The newly constituted board of directors of the BAA is also presently investigating the award of those contracts."
The letter, though, is dated today, the same date as the press release which says that they have been released from those contracts and that all "prior contractual obligations" have been extinguished.
Our Freedom of Information request had asked for 10 items including the minutes of the meeting where the contracts were voted on.
