And, if not? Well, Flowers raised the prospect of industrial action from a union not known for activism:

"It is never our intention to engage in industrial action. But when we see these kind of injustices, economic injustices at the expense of public officers, we have no other choice but to call our members and to rally the troops to get ready to take industrial action against the government of Belize, until such time that we're treated with respect and the fairness that we deserve."
