Former Prime Minister Manuel Esquivel went in for reconstructive facial surgery this morning at Jackson Memorial in Miami. According to family members, he went in at about 8:30 Belize-time and the surgery continues at this hour. It was originally projected to take about 6 hours but it is now going for 12 hours. A family representative says they expect that everything is going as planned.
