And as we close the news on this last Friday in September - we do so by reprising a bit of the Prime Minister's Independence day address.
He discussed heroes in our midst - people whose efforts and contribution often go un-heralded - such as those firefighters - who risked life and limb to douse a superheated forty thousand gallon butane tank.
Tonight, to end the celebration season on just the right note - we celebrate Belize by giving those folks their due.
