The official Belize police department website is under scrutiny tonight because of a link it has to a porn site. We were advised to go on the site and click on the link for jasmine alert. Seemed straightforward enough, but when we did it, it took us to a porn site, called jasminealert.com.

Earlier today we called the police press officer who promised to urgently look into it – but when we checked a few minutes ago, the bad link was still there.

As far as we could determine, the jasmine alert system has no official webpage, just a facebook site.
