About a month and a half ago, Gay Rights Activist Caleb Orozco, and his organization United Belize Action Movement, or UNIBAM, called out the Chief Justice, Kenneth Benjamin for delaying judgement more than 3 years now. He wants the Chief Justice to deliver the judgment on his challenge to Belize’s Sodomy Laws.

A few days later, notice went out that the judgement would be handed down on July 27. Everyone waited until this morning, only to learn once again that the Chief Justice had postponed the delivery. He’s now scheduled it for August 10.  Reports say the CJ was ill in mid-July.
