But, make no mistake, the police also continue to find unclaimed property of criminals. This morning members of the Strike Team North searched an empty lot on Pickstock Street. They found a plastic bag containing two smaller bags each containing about 8 ounces of suspected cannabis.
The Strike Team also searched an empty lot on McKay Boulevard where they found a chrome 9 millimeter P95 Ruger pistol along with four live rounds.
Both the firearm and cannabis were deposited as found property at the Queen Street Police Station.
