| Another Thousand COVID Cases |

Tonight, Belize's Ministry of Health and Wellness is reporting 1,030 new cases of Covid from 3,684 tests. Those figures make for a daily positivity rate of 29.3 %
The Cayo district reported the most cases with 267 followed by The Belize district with 264 and Orange Walk with 181. There are 24 hospitalizations with 7 of them unvaxxed, 3 of them partially vaxxed, and thirteen of them fully vaxxed. There are also 3 ICU admissions and fortunately no new deaths to report.
There are currently 9,000 active cases - which is another new record - and more than twice the previous high in December of 2020.
