But while the industry will be seeing a transformation, the bus terminal is in desperate need of repairs. Hurricane Lisa did some massive damage back in November and almost 5 months later, nothing has changed. The Minister had said that they were already beginning to work on it, but at the time this video was taken last week, the place looked like Kabul, and there was no construction in sight. The Minister of Infrastructure had also previously commented that it's not as simple as just going in and repairing the terminal since bureaucracy indicates that they would need a budget and permission from higher ups. The terminal is also still controlled by a receivership, according to reports. We will keep following to see when - and if - the terminal gets an upgrade. |
