In yesterday's news we reported that a shooting near Thelma's kitchen on Reggae Street, Belize City injured one person. He has since been identified as 31-year-old Kelvin Todd. Todd was rushed to the KHMH and treated for his injuries.

Commissioner Williams says that one person has been detained for questioning for the shooting. Police have also managed to establish a motive behind the attack on Todd.

"Yesterday evening late police responded to information of shots fired on Reggae Street Belize city. Upon arrival a male person was found with gunshot injuries to the shoulder he was taken to the hospital where he is currently admitted in a stable condition. Police currently have one person detained in respect to that incident and our investigation continues."
