Hildebrand Codd - who was charged for the 2020 murder of Densmore Bowman - was awaiting the verdict for that crime when he escaped from the courthouse with another killer.

That is Jesse Mejia - who is awaiting sentencing for the murder of Jesse Lozano and Marlon Spain which happened in 2018.

It is unclear how these high risk prisoners escaped from police, but they did, and dashed out of the high court towards Southside Belize City.

Around 1:00 pm - Jessie. Mejia was caught near Faber's Road and taken back into custody.

But, Hildebrand Codd remains at large tonight - and he is considered dangerous.

Police have put all their patrols and checkpoints on high alert and are also focussing on areas in the northern districts Codd is known to have family.
