There was a wild shooting in the city last night when a gunman opened fire on a moving vehicle - injuring two persons inside.

It happened at around 11:00 on Maskall Street where 27 year old Sherick Macdonald was driving a 2008 Range Rover along with two females when a man who was hanging out on the corner opened fire on the SUV.

Macdonald and a 35 year old female Ashanty Pateman were shot and received gunshot injuries to the body.

Police detained one person. A police camera in the area provided no useful imagery.
