| US Embassy Leading Investigation Into Fake Israeli Passports |

| 10 days ago we told you about the fake Israeli passports that turned up in Belize. But the holders of these passports are in the wind. And now it's an international effort to find them.
The commissioner of police told us their US counterparts are leading the way:
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"Yes, we are a part of the search. We spent an entire week including the weekend in search of those individuals. It's a matter with the U.S. Embassy primarily. We do not have an official report, but we are the ones who have the legal authority to detain anybody."
"And so we are involved with the Embassy to see if we can locate these persons and get those documents for inspection by the Embassy to verify if the documents are indeed fraudulent. And once that is done then we can see how it goes from there."
