Two Cops Criminal Charged For Lawless Behavior
Wed, July 3, 2024
But while cops are still on the hunt for Tillett, two officers have found themselves on the other side of the law. The first officer, PC Ryan Timmons, crashed a car while going up-stop and refused to give a urine sample. The second, Constable Kia Jones reportedly stole money from a civilian. The ComPol addressed both those cases today.

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"That police was charged I think yesterday. I think it's PC Timmons, right? Yes. He was charged. Yes."

Jules Vasquez:
"Okay. But he was involved in such outlaw behavior going up stop speeding. All of these things. What do you think when you see something like that?"

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"Well, as far as I'm concerned, he commits a breach of discipline. He also broke the law. And he's not immune from criminal liability. And so he has been dealt with."

Jules Vasquez:
"Now you have a woman police officer who has been charged just yesterday, I believe, for theft. I believe you may be aware of that case."

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"The one who was given a ride by a citizen and stole, allegedly stole $50 on the vehicle. Yes. Again, that police officer has been charged. And it goes to show that when we have complaints of the misconduct of our officers, we waste no time to take action. How more effective can we be?"
