There has been another home invasion in the Mountain Pine Ridge area. It happened around 11:300 on Tuesday night at Mile 6 on the Mountain Pine Ridge Road. 6 armed men reportedly broke into the residence of Ralph Pilley, demanding money and valuables.

The men were carrying rifles and tied up Piley. They proceeded to steal various items, including cell phones, jewelry, a laptop, cash, and Piley's wallet with credit cards. The men also made off with two vehicles: a white 2016 Subaru SUV and a 2021 Jeep Gladiator.

Police are investigating the case, but no suspects have been detained.

We note that earlier this month there was a similar incident in the Pine Ridge area targeting 75 year old American Mary Ann Baker, of mile 6, Chiquibul road.

She was home alone when she heard someone knock on the front door. She opened the door, and men wearing ski masks forced their way in, one armed with a rifle and the other two with a handgun. They gun butted her, tied her up with duct tape and stole a number of items from the house.
