And to address these kinds of shortfalls, "Support Sports BZ" was launched in early June in an attempt to collect funds to support Belize's various sporting federations as they organize tournaments locally or compete internationally.

But after its high profile launch the app was recalled due to glitches, The Minister explained.

"Because it was not, I don't know what to say there was some glitches and when we try and attempt to use it we didn't accomplish what we want so we asked somebody to do a app over for us and hopefully by the end of this week it should be completed and we are going to test it and try it and see how it works."

"The feedback was excellent especially in the business community and if you notice when the prime minister made his last presentation during the last house meeting that there is going to Be a special arrangement for businesses to contribute you will get back a return of the contribution. So we are now going up to the business for all Belizeans after the app is completely finished."
