Andre Tightlipped About Cocaine On His Boat
Tue, October 1, 2024
Yesterday we told you that just under half a pound of cocaine was found on a boat belonging to Minister Andre Perez. The vessel was docked at a boatyard, where it had been for the past six months. The ComPol explained that they found no evidence that Minister Perez had anything to do with the drugs, and that it was a peddler who might have escaped to Corozal.

But over the weekend when the media tried to ask Minister Perez about it, he was inexplicably tightlipped and fled from the cameras.

Reporter:
"Do you we know who these peddlers are?"

Andre Perez, Minister of Blue Economy
"No idea."

Reporter:
"Do they know security in the area?"

Andre Perez, Minister of Blue Economy
"I've cooperated with the police and everything. No comments. That's nothing to worry about."

Reporter:
"You don't think anyone is trying to set you up?"
