A 22 year old man has been arrested and charged for killing an elderly man in Guinea Grass Village. Donatilo Cruz was in front of a store on Friday September 13th with two other men when an altercation broke out between him and Diego Santos. Santos hit Cruz in the face, causing him to fall backward on the ground. Cruz became unconscious and Santos and the other man, Francisco Rivas, left the scene without rendering aid. Cruz was transported to the Northern Regional Hospital, where he later died.

The report was made three days later on September 16th, and last night, police charged Santos with manslaughter.
