| Desperate Search For Child That Fell In Canal |

Tonight, there is a desperate and frantic search for a child that reportedly fell into the South Creek Canal. Details are sketchy at this point - but best reports indicate it is a 6 year old boy - who reportedly fell into the Canal near the Fairweather Street bridge a few hours ago and has not resurfaced.
At this time there is no official information and our team on the scene tells us that the neighborhood residents are leading the search - mostly using sticks to push into the canal. It's very rudimentary scientific - but it's the best they have as searches are getting more frantic with nightfall.'

And an update to our headline story - the young boy - has been recovered from the south Creek Canal.
Unconfirmed Reports say he was somewhat responsive when given CPR and was foaming from the mouth. He was rushed to the hospital in a Coast Guard pickup and we will keep you posted. Our team on the ground says the appearance of his condition is not encouraging.
