No Future For Godwin Haylock In Shyne Barrow's UDP
Wed, October 23, 2024
But, with the UDP, the best way forward is rarely the road taken. They've consistently been choosing the worst way possible and in terms of pure political calculus that would mean that Shyne Barrow's UDP and Tracy Panton's one would have competing candidates in the 2025 general election - putting them at risk of losing all their seats - even the safest ones like Queens Square.

We asked Barrow if he plans to expel the Queens Square Standard Bearer Godwin Haylock who appeared on Sunday with all his delegates to oppose him:

Jules Vasquez
"So you will expel Godwin Haylock?"

Shyne Barrow, Leader -UDP
"It's not a matter of expel. If someone joins another party, that is our position. No matter what their position is. Our position is that is another party."

Jules Vasquez
"So you will expel Godwin Haylock."

Shyne Barrow, Leader -UDP
"If you want to be a part of another party, then you have the right to do that. So the NPC and the central executive, they will deal with this matter. Because what you have done is bastardize my office to pretend, according to their narrative that I do these things."
