Two Men Die In Monday Drownings

And finally, there are two drownings to report tonight.

The first happened in San Pedro where on Monday afternoon at Central Park, police found Manuel Choc motionless on the beach. He was reportedly under the influence of alcohol, and said that he was going for a swim. Moments later, he was seen floating in the sea. A bystander retrieved Choc and performed CPR; however, he was unresponsive.

And in Cayo on Monday afternoon a man washed up in the river in the Paslow Falls area of Bullet Tree Village.

The body was retrieved and identified as Rafael Vasquez. Residents from the area were fishing when they discovered the body.
