While Robinson says she does plan to continue to assist the NGO she explained why she is unable to continue to fulfill her role with them, and who will be taking up after her.
Julie Robinson, Belize Program Director, TNC
"I have spent 17 years with the Nature Conservancy probably the most difficult decision I ever had to make it my life is really to step back it's for very personal reasons I have a 14 year old son who is in New Zealand he needs me there and I have an incredible team I've built up just capacity and I've been coaching and mentoring my successor Hannah St Luce Martinez who she will be taking over as the new Belize director and officially we have 2 Belize Directors right now because I am still here but she has already started as the director so I know I am leaving the team in incredible hands and even though I will be half way across the world I will still be very much available if anything is needed at any point in time."
