| Coast Guardsman On Training In Mexico Robbed And Shot |

He's a Coast Guard Commander who's about to complete 6 months of training in Mexico City, but that didn't prevent Audibaldo Monima from being targeted by criminals there. The Coast Guard commander confirmed that Monima was the victim of a robbery and was shot in the process. Reports tell us he was also beaten by the robbers. The shot was right above his heart, but fortunately the injuries were not life threatening and the Guardsman was discharged from the hospital.
He had just completed his studies and was preparing to return home.
