| If you've been downtown over the past week, you may have found yourself stuck in traffic, or in really long cashier lines. This December saw a crowd of shoppers unlike the rest of the year because, lest we forget, "Christmas bring ih own money."
But while that may have been your experience as you zip from store to store, business owners who've been open for decades aren't quite feeling the Christmas spirit. They say the peak of downtown shopping hit long ago, and it's been downhill ever since.
