Tonight, the man accused of killing 24 year old Mark Waight is on remand in prison.
On Saturday night Peter Lara reportedly had a verbal spat with Waight which suddenly escalated into murder.
Today he was taken to court and arraigned for Waight's murder and the attempted murder of his own cousin Francis Herbert.
After his arraignment Lara asked the sitting Senior Magistrate for a phone call- he is due back in court on April 28, 2025"
Mark Waight was well known to police and had gotten off previously on charges of mruder and attempted murder.
Lara was also recently before the court for credit card fraud.
