Police officers who commute up north are complaining that their subsidized bus runs have been discontinued by the operator. They complain that police officers have to be hitchhiking after 1:00 in the morning when their shift ends.
Yesterday when we brought it up to the ComPol, he explained that it's the officers' own fault that the runs have stopped.

"It falls squarely on the police officers themselves. We subsidize the bus run for a certain amount of money which we don't have to do but we do it to help them but what the busoperator is saying is that the police officers, 1. They don't ride the bus, 2. When they ride the bus, they don't want to pay or 3. I-owe-you. The bus operator cannot operate in such a way so we can only take the horse to the water, we can't force the horse to drink. We have done our part and the officers need to do their part, at the end of the day it's their interest."
