Surveillance Video Follows Pablo From Streets To Seaside
Wed, February 5, 2025
Last night we showed you the heartbreaking video of little Pablo Orellana - the 6 year old non-verbal, autistic child who drowned on Monday afternoon.

Well, tonight, thanks to the dogged determination of his Uncle - we know the path he took from Stella Maris at the corner of Freetown Road to the sea at the Hangar area. Jomarie Lanza put together the various security videos of the child's last, perilous run:

The timeline of 6 year old Pablo Orellano's 2 mile trek through the city on Monday which led him to the hangar area where he was later found drowned has truly been an eye opener not only for parents but as a society on a whole.

It follows him on a two-mile trek where he never stops running - sometimes directly into the flow of traffic - from Freetown Road, down Kelly street, unto Princess Margaret Drive in front of BTL park.

Along the way, a couple passersby tried to hold him, but they couldn't stop him.

And Pablo's uncle has stopped at nothing to trace his nephew's steps. He has gathered security video from businesses. Along his route, which led up to his final stop.

New footage recovered today captures the exact moment that the little one turned from Princess Margaret Drive onto St Edwards street and, still jogging, made his way down to the seawall.

As Pablo slows down and starts walking, a grey Chevy equinox pulls into the frame slowing down, and then makes a U turn back down to the seaside.

At the time, a bus and another vehicle were parked in front of the seawall.

And then from another angle, surveillance footage then shows Pablo walking into the corner of the frame and making a beeline to the sea wall.

Right before he climbs onto the ledge at 1:11 pm, the same Equinox that encountered him earlier makes a turn onto the street, slowing down near the bus and then coming to a stop. It's possible they witnessed the moment Pablo slipped, or jumped into the sea. But then as he disappears into the sea, the vehicle then drives off.

And then three minutes later, at around 1:14, an individual in a red shirt comes out of the bus, walks over to face the sea, he then returns, and a woman in white and black emerges and follows him back to the same spot.

And again at 1:16 the midsize SUV passes again for a second time.

The woman in white and black is then seen on a phone call as she looks on into the water along with the man in the red shirt. The child can then be seen floating in water.

A third and fourth individual then come into frame and stand up in front of the vehicle parked facing towards the sea.

At 1:19 all 6 persons crowded around in front of the seawall where one individual used a broom attempting to remove Pablo's body. As he pulls the child up out of The water another individual arrives in a white vehicle. The man jumpsuit and goes straight up to the group and begins performing CPR on Pablo - but it was too late.

All this played out In under 8 minutes.
