| Unprecedented Allegation Made In Open Court |

| Again, arguments continued late into the evening. But one incredible, probably unprecedented thing that did happen in the early afternoon left the courtroom stunned.
Senior Counsel Ramlogan accused the judge of impropriety. As we noted it is a hybrid hearing, meaning virtual and in person - and a portion of it is conducted via a teleconferencing platform where microphones are used.
Ramlogan alleged that during the break, the judge's mic was still live and that in his room full of attorneys in Miami, they heard the judge say that he was minded to dismiss the application. It's an EXTRAORDINARY allegation and Ramlogan said he himself did not hear it but that he was just being informed of it.
The courtroom erupted and the judge told him that what he had said was incorrect. Ramlogan quickly said if that is the judge's position he will move on and he was allowed to.
As we said, unprecedented. When he rose to speak Courtenay said Ramlogan's conduct was despicable and the allegation scurrilous. He said he will make a complaint to the General Legal council of Misconduct. Ramlogan said he will apply to the court for the entire day's recording including the lunch break.
