| History: As UDP Candidates Ghost Their Party, PUP Claims 2 Seats By Default |

| Tonight, in an unprecedented event, the PUP has already secured three 2 seats - and that has happened 12 days before the general election. Those seats are: Fort George and Pickstock.
The PUP candidates who were nominated in those constituencies have thus been declared winners by default - which is what the law prescribes.
Following the historic declaration in Belize City, Henry Charles Usher and Anthony Mahler addressed their supporters from the steps of the Civic Center with an impromptu victory speech.

"First of all, first of all, we have to thank almighty for today. What a wonderful day we had today. I have to thank the person who nominated us to be candidates in Pickstock and Fort George."
"We have to thank our families who are joining us today to support us and to be congratulating and enjoying this victory today. But most importantly, thank you, the people to make sure that we were nominated to show their support."
"The work will continue, the lesson will continue. This is all in the beginning. But you have to remember, we still have 16 days to an election and we have 29 seats to win for the People's United Party."
"Other party members to make sure that they are victorious. PUP!"
