Hugo Patt, 1st Deputy, UDP
"Hugo Patt is for Corozal North, and as far as I'm concerned, we are dedicated to the goodwill of the people of Corozal North and to the thousands of the supporters that we have across this country."

"They're asking for unification, and that's precisely what we're doing at this moment in time."

Reporter
"Was there a decision primarily based on the fact that Mr. Barrow lost his constituency?"

Hugo Patt, 1st Deputy, UDP
"My decision was based on unification. We need a united democratic party, and that's what we're presenting today."

Reporter
"Do you regret the choices that you made to support Shyne?"

Hugo Patt, 1st Deputy, UDP
"No, no, no, look, the elections actually decided everything. That chapter of our history has, that chapter has closed, that book has closed. We're starting a new one, and from here we're moving forward."
