And while the opposition is re-unifying - the churches have appointed their new senator - and they chose a fiery one.
The National Evangelical Association announced the selection and appointment of Pastor Louis Wade Jr. as the Senator representing the Churches.
A release says this selection was made with collaboration between the NEAB, the Belize Council of Churches, and the Belize Association of Evangelical Churches as a united position.
Wade is expected to be more outspoken, but also more Christian - conservative than his predecessor, Methodist Bishop Alvin Moses Benguche.
