| 17 Years For Raping An 8 Year Old Girl |

And, in Dangriga a child molestor was sentenced today. He is Michael Eligio and he will serve 17 years in jail for the rape of an 8 year old child.
He was found guilty some time ago - and sentenced today by Justice Antonette Moore in the Dangriga Supreme Court. He was defended by Ivan Williams.
In May of 2020, he was accused of raping two sisters, girls aged 5 and 8.
He still has a trial pending for the five year old girl and that will be heard before another judge.
But, for now, he has been sent to prison to begin serving his 17 year sentence.
