| 7News Again Amongst Finalists For Investigative Journalism Prize |

| The semi finalists for the prestigious University of Belize Investigative Journalism were named today and, for the third year in a row, our 7News team is among the finalists.
Our series, "Night of Terror at SICH: How A Gang Took Over Cayo Hospital" has been nominated along with "Code Red in Belize's Blue" from the Amandala newspaper, and "Operations at Caribi Bleu Casino" by News 5.
Final results will be revealed at a ceremony on Saturday, May 3, in Belize City where the winning team will receive BZ$10,000. Two finalists or finalist teams will
each receive BZ$5,000.
The judges for this year's prize were:
Jacqueline Charles - Caribbean Correspondent for the Miami Herald, Eyder Peralta - International Correspondent (based in Mexico City) for NPR, Kalilah Reynolds Executive Producer of Taking Stock (based in Jamaica) and Freeman Rogers - Editor, British Virgin Islands Beacon.
