At the top of the news we told you about the disturbing case of animal cruelty found in Belize City. Well, there is another sad case coming out of the south tonight. Early this morning a jaguar was found dead about two miles south of Maya Centre village. The cause of death is not known but it appears to have been knocked down. ChiefForest Officer. Wilbur Sabido told us his Wildlife Department will do a necropsy to get a better idea of what happened. He noted that there have been an unusual number of Jaguar deaths over the past months.
