Errol Haynes Charged for Shooting Fruit Vendor
Wed, January 3, 2007

Police today charged a man believed to have been the triggerman in last week Friday's broad daylight shooting. 22-year-old Errol Haynes was taken to Magistrate's Court this afternoon where he was formally arraigned on charges of attempted murder, dangerous harm and use of deadly means of harm against fruit vendor Carlos Barrera who was caught in the crossfire of an ongoing gang rivalry. Shortly, Haynes will also be charged for the same offences against Gerald 'Shiny' Tillet and Troy 'Dread' Tillet.

Barrera is recovering at the KHMH, while the Tillet brothers have been released from the hospital.

Notably this is not the first time Haynes has had a run in with the law two years ago he was accused of the killing of 24 year old Delrick Sankey on January 6th. Charges of murder for that killing were withdrawn.
