The body of an elderly man was found in Sandhill over the weekend. Venacio Pop was last seen on Thursday riding his bicycle. On Friday, another villager found his body. Today ACP Romero said they are waiting for the postmortem exam.

"Police visited the area where they found the decomposing body of a male person identified as Venacio Pop, 67 years, Belizean caretaker of Sandhill Village. Information is that he was taking care of a farm there, he was last seen two days prior to that riding a bicycle and thereafter his body was found. We're awaiting a postmortem examination at this time."
