The rains over the past week have helped to tame the wildfires in both the Cayo and Toledo Districts. According to NEMO's national coordinator, while there are still some fires, they are nowhere near as disastrous as they were a couple of weeks ago. Daniel Mendez explained that NEMO can now focus on collecting data on just how bad the devastation was. He spoke to us via Zoom.
