ComPol Says SICH Investigation Would Be Easier If Doctors Would Cooperate
Fri, July 12, 2024
And while they now have the mobiles - they didn't have them on June first when criminals terrorized the San Ignacio Community Hospital.

Almost 6 weeks after that major security breach, police still haven't found all the persons responsible for invading the hospital, and terrorizing the medical staff.

The compol says that their investigations would be a lot easier if the staff on duty were to come forward and give their statements.

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"I wish that we could make more arrests but again the mischief behind the whole San Ignacio poly clinic is one that I just don't understand. The persons who were working, the doctor who was in that audio and shared the audio with channel 7 have since refused to come forward and give any report to the police we ended up making arrests based on the account of a third party who was not present and in order for us to be able to file charges for threatening words or whatever we would have needed the statements from those persons who were present in the hospital and those persons refused to cooperate and as a matter of fact even in the meetings that we had they did not partake in those meetings and so in the absence of getting statements from them we are not able to proceed any further. All the parties were obtained and we did as best as we can to be able to charge some of them for disorderly behavior. They went to court the plead guilty and they were fine so from a policing stand point we have done what we could do with what we had. If at some point in time before the statue of limitations passed the doctors or the nurses who were working decide that they want to give statements then we can proceed against those persons for threatening words."

But what about David Galindo's brother Mynor who the compel said was a key suspect in the investigation? The compol says that they have reviewed the video footage of that night and Mynor was not there.

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"We have checked the video footage from the hospital and it turned out that he was not at the hospital so he was not a part of what took place at the hospital."
