As we showed you last night, William Danny Mason had a bogus birth certificate, which also got him a bogus social security card, but apparently not a Belizean passport. The birth certificate is the stolen identity of a man born to Crooked Tree parents in 1970 – and according to the Immigration Minister with that document alone he could have duped the entire system. Here’s what Godwin Hulse told us yesterday:…
Hon. Godwin Hulse - Minister of Immigration
"I only heard from you Jules this morning that he has some vital statistics document which of course you know if he has vital statistics document then it really has nothing to do with nationality it has to do with passports meaning he would have presented that but I have not had any opportunity to speak to any officer or indeed to follow up on it."
Jules Vasquez
"Would that bogus birth certificate would he have been able to dupe the entire system and get a passport?"
Hon. Godwin Hulse - Minister of Immigration
"Oh yea easily but if you show up with a birth certificate and you have a social security card; picture on the social security card looks good. Remember birth certificates has no picture so I don't know who that is, had no finger print you don't know who that is. Man da the loosest document you can ever imagine. It goes back to the days when we had confidence in the nation and nobody lied. Not anymore so getting a vital statistics document seems to be very easy."
Geovannie Brackett
"A simple google search found scammed reports of this individual why wasn't this uncovered?"
Hon. Godwin Hulse - Minister of Immigration
"Well I don't think if you look for William Mason that is what I am understanding. If you are looking for somebody else as some of your reports are saying then maybe but if you are looking for Williams Mason whom I saw a copy of a vital statistics given to me by Jules a while ago which says he was born in Crooked Tree well there would be nothing to look."
