Samer Safa, not Yasser Safa - that's who police say they are looking for in connection with complaints that he defrauded thousands of dollars from local businesses.

Police say that Yasser Safa is the brother of Samer. Yasser turned himself into police to make the clarification, so tonight this is the man being sought. Police say that since the start of the year, Samer has made off with thousands of dollars, like a 42-inch plasma television from Courts, a computer system from AES and a container from the Belize Shipping Agency by passing fake checks. These three transactions occurred between February and November of this year.
