And in other news, a man died last night while driving his motorcycle on the Philip Goldson Highway within Belize City limits. Reports say Sidion Solano was near mile four when he lost control of the bike and reportedly crashed into the large white tires that sit at the median. Solano was flung from his cycle and died on the spot. Repots say his helmet was shattered by the impact - and he was seen on the pavement with massive head injury.
Solano was employed at Digi, working as a security officer since August of last year. Police have yet to issue an official report on this fatality.
